Haute cuisine in an emblematic building
Inspired by the splendour of the Belle Époque and located in the former KAS Bank building in the W Hotel Amsterdam, The Duchess is one of our favourite restaurants in the city. A place where to enjoy haute cuisine in an iconic building.
Restaurant, bar and tea room. Awarded a Michelin star, the menu is inspired by traditional dishes from the South of France and Italy. The cocktails are reminiscent of the 1920s and 1930s and the delicious desserts served in a special way, such as handmade ice cream with toppings to taste, take the experience to the next level.
Authentic elements like the antique glass ceiling, the mercury statue of Hermes and the grand clock, together with the marble, are the stars of the space. A project by the studio Office Winhov, which creates an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere where past and present not only coexist, but complement each other.

Alta cocina en un edificio emblemático
Inspirado en el esplendor de la Belle Époque y situado en el antiguo edificio de KAS Bank en el W Hotel Amsterdam, The Duchess es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos de la ciudad. Un lugar donde disfrutar de la alta cocina en un edificio icónico.
Restaurante, bar y salón de té. Galardonado con una estrella Michelín, el menú se inspira en los platos tradicionales del sur de Francia e Italia. Los cócteles recuerdan a los años 20 y 30 y sus deliciosos postres servidos de forma especial, como el helado elaborado artesanalmente con aderezos al gusto, elevan la experiencia a un nivel superior.
Los elementos auténticos como el techo antiguo de cristal, la estatua de mercurio de Hermes y el gran reloj, junto el mármol protagonizan el espacio. Un proyecto del estudio Office Winhov, que crea una atmósfera elegante y sofisticada donde pasado y presente, no sólo coexisten, sino que se complementan.
