An 18th century villa converted into a hotel
Facing Lake Como is Passalacqua, an 18th century palace transformed into a hotel.
This villa was home to Italian nobles and artists such as Bellini (Italian composer), who lived here during the 1820s. In 2022 it was inaugurated as a hotel where you can enjoy the Italian ‘dolce Vita’ and classical beauty.
The refurbishment has respected the building, maintaining original features such as the 18th century frescoes, marble floors and hand-carved doors. The beautifully landscaped terraced gardens, which slope down to the lake, have also been preserved, maintaining an atmosphere reminiscent of the splendour of bygone times.
The hotel has twenty-four rooms in the main villa, the Orangery and the former caretaker’s house. Each with its own character and stunning views of the lake.

Una villa del siglo XVIII reconvertida en hotel
Frente al Lago di Como se encuentra Passalacqua, un palacio del siglo XVIII transformado en hotel.
Esta vill fue hogar de nobles italianos y de artistas como Bellini (compositor italiano), que residió durante la década de 1820. En 2022 se inauguró como hotel donde poder disfrutar de la «dolce Vita» italiana y la belleza clásica.
La rehabilitación ha respetado el edificio, se han mantenido elementos originales, como los frescos del siglo XVIII, los suelos de mármol y las puertas talladas a mano. Se han conservado también, los maravillosos jardines diseñados mediante terrazas, que descienden hacia el lago, manteniendo esa atmósfera que recuerda el esplendor de otras épocas.
El hotel cuenta con veinticuatro habitaciones repartidas entre la villa principal, la casa del invernadero y la antigua casa del guarda. Cada una con su propio carácter y con increíbles vistas al lago.
