For centuries, it belonged to the aristocratic Bargagli family, who transformed the estate into an extensive network of agricultural holdings. Today, the hotel preserves the character of those historic buildings that shaped both the estate and the surrounding landscape: more than 1,500 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, forests and rural paths. The property has been restored with respect for traditional Tuscan architecture, carefully preserving its original elements.
The rooms, suites and villas combine natural materials and antique furnishings, creating a serene atmosphere reminiscent of traditional Tuscan country houses. The hotel features several dining spaces where guests can enjoy Italian cuisine. Tosca, its fine dining restaurant, is led by chef Michele Raggi and offers a farm-to-table concept based on seasonal produce from its own garden and local suppliers. The spa, located in the estate’s former wine cellar, offers treatments inspired by ingredients from the region such as olive oil, grapes and rosemary.
