A former agricultural estate transformed into a boutique hotel
Casas da Quinta da Cima is located in the eastern Algarve, within a historic agricultural estate—owned by the same family for more than five generations—now transformed into a boutique hotel that preserves its original essence.
The project is based on the rehabilitation of the former workers’ houses, respecting their scale, volumes, and the elements of local architecture. Whitewashed walls, traditional roofs, and natural materials coexist with contemporary furniture and carefully selected restored pieces.
Nine spacious suites and two independent villas with private pools are designed for a comfortable stay, inviting guests to disconnect and unwind. The relationship between interior and exterior spaces—through patios, terraces, and gardens—creates an experience that combines privacy with outdoor living, with both countryside and coast close by. The proposal is completed by a cuisine based on products from the estate itself, following a farm-to-table concept that reinforces the connection to the place.

Una finca agrícola reconvertida en hotel boutique
Casas da Quinta da Cima se sitúa en el Algarve oriental, dentro de una una finca agrícola histórica —en manos de la misma familia desde hace más de cinco generaciones— ahora reconvertida en un hotel boutique que mantiene su esencia.
La intervención parte de la rehabilitación de las antiguas casas de los trabajadores, respetando su escala, sus volúmenes y los elementos propios de la arquitectura local. Muros encalados, cubiertas tradicionales y materiales naturales, junto con mobiliario contemporáneo y piezas recuperadas.
Nueve amplias suites y dos villas independientes con piscina privada, pensadas para una estancia confortable donde desconectar y disfrutar. La relación entre interior y exterior a través de patios, terrazas y jardines, ofrece una experiencia que combina privacidad y vida al aire libre, con el campo y la costa muy cerca. La propuesta se completa con una cocina basada en los productos de la propia finca, siguiendo un concepto farm to table que refuerza la conexión con el lugar.
Compartimos la manera de respetar el origen y de mantener la esencia de los lugares con historia. La forma de conectar con el entorno y de poner en valor la herencia.
