Amongst the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by long green plains, is Boath House, a former Georgian mansion from the early 19th century converted into a luxury hotel. A place to disconnect and enjoy nature and wellbeing.
A project managed and decorated by the British designer Jonathan Gent, also founder of the Sessions Art Club restaurant (one of our favourites in London) and Cabin Studio. The philosophy, which revolves around art, gastronomy and supplies, is present in each space, creating an atmosphere «where people can disappear», as Gent says for the Financial Times. The original vaulted ceilings and the many pieces of furniture that have been recovered maintain the essence of the building. The interiors, sober and cosy, are decorated in neutral tones with natural materials creating a warm and calm atmosphere.
The bedrooms are distributed between the manor house, built in 1827 for an English aristocratic family, which serves as the main house and currently houses 10 rooms; and an individual lodge with 4 bedrooms. A 25-hectare estate with a garden over 400 years old where, in addition to the palace, there is a studio café and sauna integrated into the natural landscape. The exquisite cuisine in the dining room and the Garden Café offers a menu prepared with seasonal and local ingredients that accompany the wellness experience.

«Un espacio donde la gente pueda desaparecer»
Entre los Highlands escoceses rodeado de largas explanadas verdes, se encuentra Boath House, un antiguo palacete georgiano de principios del siglo XIX reconvertido en un hotel de lujo. Un lugar donde desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza y el bienestar.
Un proyecto gestionado y decorado por el diseñador británico Jonathan Gent, fundador también del restaurante Sessions Art Club (uno de nuestros favoritos de Londres) y de Cabin Studio. La filosofía, que gira en torno al arte, la gastronomía y el producto, está presente en cada espacio, creando una atmósfera “donde la gente pueda desaparecer”, como dice Gent para el Financial Times. Los techos abovedados originales y los numerosos muebles que se recuperaron, mantienen la esencia del edificio. Los interiores, sobrios y acogedores, están decorados en tonos neutros con materiales naturales creando una atmósfera cálida y tranquila.
Los dormitorios se distribuyen entre el palacete, construido en 1827 para una familia aristócrata inglesa, que funciona como casa principal y alberga actualmente 10 habitaciones; y un lodge individual con 4 dormitorios. Una finca de 25 hectáreas con un jardín con más de 400 años de antigüedad en el que además del palacio, hay una cafetería studio y una sauna integrados en el paisaje natural. La exquisita cocina del comedor y del Garden Café ofrece un menú elaborado con ingredientes de temporada y locales, que acompañan a la experiencia de bienestar.
