A modern temple of haute cuisine, design & music.
Renowned chefs Nick Bril and Sergio Herman have transformed this disused former chapel in Antwerp into one of the 50 best restaurants in the world, with two Michelin stars.
The Jane is about much more than food. An experience that encompasses gastronomy, art, design, fashion and music as a whole. An atmosphere in which to enjoy. For us, the true definition of slow living.
The conception of the space, together with its delicate lighting and exquisite cuisine provide a unique experience.
In the interiors, worked with Piet Boon, the taste of the passage of time is noticeable in every space. The building’s own qualities and materials are highlighted, combining them in perfect harmony with modern elements such as the skull that can be seen as soon as you enter.
The main piece in the central dining room is a lamp designed by Pslab, one of our favourite lighting brands. The tableware designed by Serax, a Belgian company we use a lot, makes the food and the setting especially different.
On our last visit to Antwerp, we had the opportunity to dine there for the 10th anniversary of .Pslab and it was one of the most spectacular experiences we have ever had. The Jane has an energy that cannot be compared to anywhere else.
