Memories of our childhood in Madrid
Sundays running, laughing, discovering. Visiting the horses in the Paddock. Betting and the emotion in the grandstands. Hipódromo de la Zarzuela is one of the places that marked our childhood and that today still has a very special meaning for us.
Perhaps, without knowing it, this work of Carlos Arniches, Martín Domínguez and Eduardo Torroja, where we have so many memories, was the beginning of our passion and interest in beauty, textures and architecture.
The arches in the central area, where we hid so many times playing, inspire our current projects. The nature, the countryside, the animals. Natural materials and neutral colours.
Architecture and engineering. Elegance and precision. Sensitivity and technique. The singularity of forms that raises the beauty of competition to a higher level.
Recuerdos de nuestra infancia en Madrid
Los domingos corriendo, riendo, descubriendo. Las visitas a los caballos en el Paddock. Las apuestas y la emoción en las gradas. El Hipódromo de la Zarzuela es uno de los lugares que marcaron nuestra infancia y que hoy sigue teniendo para nosotras un significado muy especial.
Puede que, sin saberlo aún, esta obra de Carlos Arniches, Martín Domínguez y Eduardo Torroja donde tenemos tantos recuerdos, fuese el inicio de nuestra pasión e interés por la belleza, las texturas y la arquitectura.
Los arcos de la zona central donde tantas veces nos escondimos jugando, inspiran nuestros proyectos actuales. La naturaleza, el campo, los animales. Los materiales naturales y los colores neutros.
Arquitectura e ingeniería. Elegancia y precisión. Sensibilidad y técnica. La singularidad de las formas que eleva la belleza de la competición a un nivel superior.
